Hoy hacia una reflexion con mi hijo a la hora de la cena sobre las personas que necesitan ayuda, le contaba historias de como personas sin hogar piden mas que dinero piden ayuda, piden una oportunidad mas en su vida. Le decia que mas que juzgarlo es mejor ayudarlos porque nadie sabe a menos que te sientes junto a ellos y dejar que te cuenten sus historias porque y como llegaron a tocar fondo y esten ahi.
En ese momento mencione a los Veteranos, muchos de ellos estan en las calles por diversos motivos caidos en un combate con ellos mismos. Los que con coraje defendieron este pais estan luchando dia a dia sus propias batallas, necesitando ayuda de la sociedad, esa sociedad que les dice hoy gracias pero los ignoran muchas veces cuando estan en una esquina pidiendo ayuda.
No es solo celebrar un dia especial por ellos y decirles gracias por las redes sociales, no solo es un dia feriado para salir a hacer compras a las grandes tiendas aprovechando los descuentos por el "Veterans Day".
Es mucho mas que eso si nos ponemos en el lugar de ellos...
Oremos por ellos, por su salud mental, oremos para que no pierdan la fe y fortalezcan su espiritu... Y por aquellos que dieron sus vidas luchando por sus ideales, Dios bendiga sus almas para que puedan tener la paz y ver la luz y gozar de la vida eterna.
Bendiciones a cada uno de ellos... Gracias, Gracias Veteranos!!!
VETERANS DAY...
Today at a reflection with my son at dinner time on people who need help, and told him stories of homeless people asking for money rather than ask for help, asking for one more chance in your life. I told him that we should not judge them, it's much better if we help them because nobody knows unless you sit next to them and let them tell their stories and how they got that bottoming out and be there.
At that time I mention Veterans, many of them are on the streets for various reasons, now fallen in combat themselves. Those who courageously defended this country are struggling every day their own battles, they are in need of help from society, that society tells them today thanks but often ignored when they are in a corner for help.
Not just celebrate a special day for them and say thank you for social networking is not just a public holiday to go shopping in the big stores taking advantage of discounts for the "Veterans Day."
It is much more than that if we get in their place ...
Pray for them, for their mental health, pray do not lose faith and strengthen their spirit ... And for those who gave their lives fighting for their ideals, God bless their souls so they can have peace and see the light and enjoy eternal life.
